It is difficult to estimate the time it may take to deal with your matter. Generally a residential sale or purchase would take around 8 – 12 weeks in a relatively straightforward transaction.
Lasting Powers of Attorney take around 8 weeks to register at the Office of the Public Guardian once the documents have been signed and submitted.
The administration of a deceased’s estate will normally be completed within one year from our being instructed and most estates are concluded much more quickly than this. Once we have all the information we need to make the application, probate should be granted within 12 weeks of the application but this depends on the probate court workload. Conclusion of the administration depends on a number of factors, including the complexity of the deceased’s estate and terms of the Will.
